Sonam Kapoor celebrated her first Mother's Day in the UK by hosting a lavish dinner party at her Notting Hill home in London with her husband, businessman Anand Ahuja, and their son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. The actress shared glimpses of the celebrations on her Instagram account, including pictures of her get-together with friends and a newly decorated home inspired by the colors of spring. The decorations were done in a spectacular style by incredibly talented desis, as mentioned by Sonam in her post.
The pictures show Sonam wearing a red and black outfit and a table decorated with yellow taper candles and flowers. The brightly colored orange wall was full of balloons, and Sonam also gave a glimpse of the menu that had a host of dishes. In the last picture, several snack trays and bowls can be seen.

Anand reacted to the post by requesting a tag on slide 7, and her mother Sunita Kapoor commented with red heart emojis. Sonam and Anand tied the knot in May 2018 after dating for several years and welcomed their first child, Vayu, in August 2022. The actress will next be seen in the upcoming film ‘Blind’ directed by Shome Makhija, which also stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey in vital roles.
