Sarah Michelle Gellar Rocks Taylor Swift-Inspired Look at Eras Tour Concert

Over the weekend, a star-studded crowd gathered for Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour concerts in Los Angeles, including celebrities like Sofia Vergara, Mindy Kaling, and Emma Roberts. However, it was Sarah Michelle Gellar who truly stood out with her concert-going look.

Fresh off an incredible week that involved returning from a family vacation in Italy and heading straight to SoFi Stadium for Swift's show on Saturday, Gellar fully embraced the singer's 2014 era. She sported a wavy lob hairstyle with an extreme side part and long bangs reminiscent of Taylor herself. Sharing a close-up photo of her Swift-inspired hairdo on Instagram Story, Gellar credited hairstylist @barbdoeshair for the transformation. To complement her hair, she opted for dark pink lip color and smoky eye makeup.

Gellar also made a fashion statement by wearing a silvery sequined crop top layered beneath a matching blazer. She paired this ensemble with light-wash mom jeans and white sneakers. Adding finishing touches to her outfit were accessories such as a black crossbody bag, oversized hoops earrings, and multiple beaded friendship bracelets representing the Eras Tour.

Taking to Instagram once again, Gellar shared a slideshow featuring photos and videos from the eventful night. It included backstage moments with Este Haim from the band Haim (known as one-third of the sibling pop-rock group) as well as footage of herself singing along to “I Knew You Were Trouble” alongside friend and Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star Seth Green.

Fans couldn't help but notice that during the show Taylor sang “You're On Your Own Kid,” which many interpreted as an anthem associated with Buffy Summers – Gellar's iconic character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer series. Comments poured in on Gellar's post highlighting this connection between Taylor's song choice and Buffy: “Taylor singing ‘you’re on your own kid' last night is so buffy coded ????,” wrote one fan, while another added, “How does it feel to know that she played ‘you’re on your own kid' specifically for you.”
