On a recent Tuesday, the actress and mother-of-one graced the streets of New York City on a day date with her husband, Cooke Maroney, who is an art gallery director. While any display of public affection between the couple would surely warm our hearts, it's their charmingly coordinated outfits that truly captured our attention. Opting for black-and-white ensembles for their leisurely stroll, Jennifer donned a white button-up vest coupled with low-rise black trousers and sleek black sandals. Meanwhile, Cooke sported a simple white T-shirt, well-fitted dark bottoms, and stylish black-and-white sneakers.
Jennifer and Cooke kept their accessories to a minimum for the outing, both donning square-shaped black sunglasses (J.Law added a touch of elegance with a brown bag and silver jewelry). Completing her look, the actress allowed her blonde hair to cascade in soft waves, featuring a deep side part.
Known for their privacy, the couple's romantic journey began in June 2018 when they were linked through a mutual acquaintance. Their relationship swiftly blossomed, culminating in marriage in October 2019. They embraced parenthood by welcoming their first child, a son named Cy, in February 2022.
While Jennifer has chosen to maintain a level of privacy regarding her experiences as a mother, she did share rare insights during a conversation with Cameron Diaz for Interview Magazine earlier this year. Reflecting on motherhood, she conveyed, “I've contemplated the prospect of raising a child in a way that diverges from his friends' experiences. Each child is born with unique advantages and challenges.” She continued, “My foremost goal is to ensure he's aware of our unconditional love and his significance to us. I strive to set an example of kindness. Undoubtedly, there will be hurdles shaped by my choices and lifestyle, and both of us will confront and navigate those challenges when the time comes.”
