The founder of Rhode took to Instagram on Thursday to announce the launch of her Peptide Lip Tints, captivating her 50.6 million followers with a series of balletcore-themed photos. The first snapshot showcased a close-up of Hailey, dressed in a sleek black turtleneck leotard, adorned with oversized gold drop earrings. Notably, she sported one of her new lip tints in the shade “ribbon.” In the second slide, she revealed the complete ensemble, featuring scrunched white ankle socks, silky pink ballet slippers, and a stack of chunky gold bracelets.
For her glamorous appearance, the A-lister styled her brunette bob into a high messy bun, accentuated with a matching pink scrunchie. Completing the look was her signature espresso-toned makeup.
Captioning the photos, Hailey wrote, “PEPTIDE LIP TINT: ribbon ???????? new peptide lip tints arriving 9/28 at 9 am PST @rhode.” Additionally, her Peptide Lip Tints will be available in shades such as “toast,” “espresso,” and “raspberry jelly.”
Beyond serving as a trendy photoshoot theme, Bieber shared the personal significance of ballet in her life and how the name “ribbon” pays homage to her childhood as a dancer. In an interview with Forbes on September 21, she expressed, “I used to be a ballet dancer, so makeup played a big role as a performer. And I love making the correlation between food and skincare and beauty because I also just love food! So I'm taking all these things that I love in my personal life and trying to marry them all into one space and express that creatively through my eyes.”
